Activity Objective: To practice artistic and fine motor skills.
Materials Needed:
1. Blue paint
2. White paper
3. Grey paper
4. Glue
Procedures/Strategies:
a. Have children paint their hands or dip their hands in paint and then use those handprints as rain coming down from a cloud.
b. Glue grey paper cut in the shape of a cloud to the top of the white paper.
c. Optional: write out the “Rain, rain go away” poem.
Guidance and Safety Considerations:
Paint is messy, be sure to take necessary precautions.
