Fall Cork Painting

Age: 3-5 PSC/GD

Secondary Age: 1-3 IT

Curriculum Area: Art, Physical (sensory)

Developmental Goal/Activity Objective: to practice creative and sensory skills.

Materials Needed:

1. Wine bottle corks

2. Paint (red, orange, yellow, brown)

3. White paper

4. Brown construction paper

Procedures/Strategies:

a. Cut a tree form out of brown construction paper and glue it onto white paper.

b. Put out paints of different colours with corks of different sizes for each.

c. Let children stamp around the tree to make the leaves.

d. They can also stamp some falling and on the ground.

Guidance and Safety Considerations:

Paint is messy, take necessary care.
