Painting Fireworks with Toilet Paper Rolls
Age: 1-3 IT
Secondary Age: 3-5 PSC/GD, 5-10 OSC
Curriculum Area: Art, Motor Skills
Developmental Goal/Activity Objective: To practice creative art and fine motor skills.
Materials Needed:
1. Toilet paper rolls
2. Paint
3. paper
Procedures/Strategies:
a. Cut strips into toilet paper tubes. Make different tubes have different length strips but the strips per tube should be consistent.
b. Put out paint and paper and have children dip the toilet paper tubes in the paint and stamp it against the paper to make fireworks.
c. Let dry and display.
Guidance and Safety Considerations:
Paint is messy, take necessary precaution.
