Materials Needed:

1. Paper 

2. Markers 

3. Scissors 

4. Glue 

5. Tray 

6. Water

Procedures/Strategies:

a. Cut paper into flower shapes of various sizes and colour with markers. Stack flowers three at a time with small flowers inside larger and glue at centre. Fold petals inwards one flower at a time. 

b. Place flower in water. Petals should open up like a flower blooming. 

c. Discuss process with students.
