1. Paper 

2. Pencil 

3. Scissors 

4. Different implements (small toys, blocks, items from nature, etc.)

Procedures/Strategies:

a. Have children trace their own hand and cut out the tracing. 

b. Put out a number of small implements on a table.

c. Have children see how many of the small items will fit in their hand.
