Popsicle Father’s Day Card

Activity Objective: To practice creative art skills while showing appreciation for Father’s Day.
Materials Needed:
- Paper
- Paints
- Markers
- Craft popsicle sticks
- Glue stick
- Paintbrushes
- Eye stickers or googly eyes
Procedures/Strategies:
- Draw the shape of a popsicle and any other accessories you would like to add. Source site has a template available. Let children colour or paint the popsicle.
- Cut it out and write the message on it, such as “Dad, you’re the coolest!”
- Glue the pieces together on a popsicle stick.
Guidance and Safety Considerations:
Paint is messy, take necessary precaution.
