Fingerprint Heart Tree
Age: 3-5 PSC/GD
Secondary Age: 5-10 OSC
Curriculum Area: Art, Fine Motor
Developmental Goal/Activity Objective: To practice art and fine motor skills.
Materials Needed:
1. Paper
2. Black marker
3. Paint
Procedures/Strategies:
a. This activity is similar to the Fingerprint Hearts for IT but a little more difficult to suit older children and their skills.
b. Start by drawing or painting the silhouette of a tree with bare branches in black (like the image below).
c.Then have children create the “flowers” with their fingerprints in a heart shape over the branches.
