Activity Objective: To practice creative art skills while learning about animals that undergo metamorphosis.

Materials Needed:

1. Paper plate

2. Paint 

3. Red construction paper

4. Googly eyes or a marker

5. Scissors

6. Glue

Procedures/Strategies:

a. Paint the back of a paper plate green.

b. Make two green handprints and cut them out.

c. Fold the paper plate in half and glue the handprints on the bottom to look like frog feet. 

d. Cut a piece of red construction paper into strips and then fold the strip accordion style. 

e. Glue this in between the two halves of the paper plate to make the frog’s tongue.

f. Glue googly eyes on top or draw on eyes.
