a. Choose 6 animals and their types of movements to put on the cube.
b. Draw each animal and write their type of movement on a piece of paper.
c. Tape these pieces of paper together to make a cube like a dice. It can be helpful to use a box like a square tissue box underneath.
d. You can also stuff the insides with crumpled scrap paper to give the cube a little more weight before securing the last side.
e. Put the cube together with packing tape.
f. Have children take turns rolling the cube and doing that animal movement.
g. If you want to extend this you can create a second cube with numbers on it to indicate repetitions of an action OR time periods for how long to do it.
